Fun is loading at the Grassy Park Festive Market

Get out your calendars. It’s time to diarise the Grassy Park Festive Market that returns this week on Friday, 12 December and Saturday, 13 December at the Grassy Park Civic Centre.
Hosted by the City's Economic Growth Directorate and endorsed by Ward Councillor Donovan Nelson of Ward 65, the Grassy Park Festive Market will be building on the popular community markets held across the city.

- Friday, 12 December 2025 from 17:00 to 22:00
- Saturday, 13 December 2025 from 10:00 to 15:00
Vendors have been carefully curated and will offer a variety of foods, gifts, crafts and toys. There will also be a packed entertainment programme and a children’s play area.
‘The Grassy Park Festive Market is one of several community festivals and markets across Cape Town that showcase Cape Town’s talent – be it the crafters, the caterers, the designers and the performers. I hope that residents can come out in numbers to support these small businesses and artists.
‘The market is the perfect family-friendly time to get into the holiday spirit and support local small businesses. As a City, we host these markets to give vendors a platform to showcase their products and create valuable economic opportunities,’ said Mayoral Committee Member for Economic Growth Alderman James Vos.
